This policy explains what personal data Cruiser App (https://example.com) collects, why, and the choices and rights you have.

1. Who is responsible (controller)

[legal name], [address], [country]. Privacy questions and requests: privacy@example.com.

2. What we collect

  • Account data: email address, name and profile picture (from Google sign-in if you use it).
  • Billing data: plan, subscription status and payment history. Card details are handled by Paddle; we never see or store your full card number.
  • Content: what you create or upload in the Service.
  • Usage data: product events (for example sign-up, purchase), the page or campaign that brought you, and technical logs (IP address, browser) used for security and error tracking.
  • Messages: what you send us through the contact form, email or chat.

4. Who processes it for us (sub-processors)

  • Hetzner (hosting, EU)
  • Cloudflare (DNS, CDN, bot protection, analytics, backups)
  • Resend (email delivery)
  • Paddle (payments, Merchant of Record)
  • Google (sign-in)
  • Sentry (error tracking)
  • Crisp (support chat)

They process data only on our instructions and under data processing agreements.

5. International transfers

Some providers process data outside your country (for example in the United States). Where that happens we rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. How long we keep it

  • Account data and content: while your account is open, plus 30 days after deletion (backups roll over within that time).
  • Billing records: about 7 years, as tax law requires.
  • Product events: 90 days. Email send logs: 90 days.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example the EU/UK under the GDPR, or California under the CCPA/CPRA) you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent. You can download your data and delete your account yourself in Dashboard → Settings, or write to privacy@example.com. We will not treat you differently for using these rights. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

8. Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to sign you in and keep the Service secure. Our analytics do not use cookies. See the Cookie Policy.

9. Children

The Service is not meant for children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes

We will post changes here and update the date above; for material changes we will also notify you by email.
